Head of AI Engineering
Aech AI
- Built aech-intelligence-service, a self-hosted inference service running open-weight models on NVIDIA DGX Spark. Used it to benchmark text generation, speech-to-text transcription, and multimodal models, and to select the models adopted into the production agent harness.
- Delivered a production computer-use capability that unblocked a customer integration with no available API. Prototyped three approaches — open-weight vision models, OpenAI models, and a deterministic scripted path — within one week, then chose the production design on measured accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Owned platform delivery into customer environments: five deployments across Azure cloud, Azure VM, and on-premise DGX Spark hardware. Built and maintained the PowerShell deployment automation and the agent skills that validate deploy output and configure each customer tenant.
- Engineered features and fixes across the multi-agent harness to unblock agent delivery, and ran regular pair-programming sessions with the team's data scientist to turn recurring blockers into reusable platform capabilities.
